Easy Butter Cookies Recipe Cookie pie tart (layered cookie) - Basically, this recipe is similar to a pie tart. but in this, we are using cold butter and cold water instead of milk and soft butter. 

During the dough making time and also in the baking time. we have to make sure what type of cookie we have to make a layered cookie or a normal cookie.

total time - 2 hours

preparation time - 20 minutes

resting time - 1 hour 

bake time - 30-40 minutes   


Ingredients for Easy Butter Cookies Recipe

flour - 1cup

sugar - 1/2cup

cold butter cut in small cubes - 1/2cup

cinnamon - 1tps

ice-cold water - 5-6tbps

salt - 1tsp

baking powder - 2tsp

baking soda - 2tsp

Easy Butter Cookies Recipe

Step1 Put one cup of flour in a bowl add baking powder and baking soda in it and mix it properly.

Step2 Add the cinnamon, salt, sugar in it and mix them properly until well combined.

Step3 Now add the butter and mix it But do not mash the butter we want some small chunks of butter

Step4 After adding butter now slowly add cold water and knead a tight dough.

Step5 Cover the dough with some polythene and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step6 roll it and cut it into your desired shape and bake in a preheated oven until crispy.

step7 but if you want some layers in your cookie then firstly roll the dough, dust some flour, and again roll it.

Step8 do this process 2-3 times.

Step9 and then cut them into your desired shape and bake them into the desired shape.

Some Extra Tips

1.If you want fluffy cookie then preheat the oven at 300*f and then bake into 280*c

2. And you if don't want a fluffy cookie then preheat the oven to 180*c and then bake into 200*c.
