Apfelkuchen
An easy and delicious home-made cake recipe that brings out the superior taste of an apple pie mixed with lemon juice and one cup of fulfillment! This recipe yields 11-12 servings.
Ingredients
- 6 medium apples
- Tsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbls. milk
Directions
- First, Cream butter, sugar and eggs, and then add lemon juice, beat for 5 minutes.
- Then add 1/2 the flour. Beat this in and then beat in the other 1/2 of the flour and baking powder.
- Next, add the milk. Pour the dough into a greased 9″ square cake pan. Put peeled and quartered apples on top.
- After that, bake 30 to 40 minutes at 375F. degrees.
- Lastly, Let cake cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Apfelkuchen is now ready to serve!
