Amaretto Pound Cake
A perfect Amaretto pound cake recipe that’s great for serving at dinner parties, or whenever you feel like have a little slice on heaven!
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 3 sticks butter (softened)
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Amaretto
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325F/162C.
- Prepare a greased and floured bunt pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy and add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Add flour alternately with Amaretto liqueur and pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 1 hour and 2o minutes and remove from oven. Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.
